Well, that's all folks. I feel like we just arrived at school in August, but now it's a brisk 30 degrees outside and the Christmas tree is up in my house. JUST LIKE THAT.
Around the holiday season I get incredibly sentimental about how great the people in my life are. You know who you are, and thank you. Here's to you, and a semester well done. I'm proud of all of us. I'm ready for the next round in 5 short weeks!!! But for now, let's eat a lot of food and sleep a lot of hours.
I love every single one of you.
This semester has also been really cool because it has been filled with PHOTOGRAPHY (surprise).
Photography is cool. I'm always afraid people won't take me seriously and I am constantly comparing myself to other photographers. Even if photography wasn't a trend right now, I would still be in it. I am in love with light and the way that it illuminates some things and back lights others. I love the way it reflects off of light surfaces and creates bokeh when the depth of field is shallow. It's funny because "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" (John 1:5). The Lord has created it to perfectly hit every thing that He has made. I see the beauty, and I get to capture it!
